last summer hurrah

i guess that was it. it's only may but summer is already dwindling away. it's already starting to pour, the first sign that summer is dying is the raging typhoon that has already wreaked havoc in the city the past weekend. on my way to work last friday, i listened to nothing but corinne bailey rae's put your records on while looking out the bus window and watching the dreary and wet city in the morning, reminiscing of the sun and blue skies that seemed to be there only yesterday. i can't believe summer is almost over.

nevertheless, i still managed to squeeze in a trip to the beach two weekends ago, courtesy of college pals this time. it was a trip full of misadventures and unfortunate events, which still worked to our advantage in the end! HAH! no one messes with me, not unless i allowed them to. hmm.

so it was a 3-day stay at the beach i had. the usual beach life: smoking at every chance, swimming in the afternoon, loungin' on the sand, and drinking come nighttime. i'd post the pictures here, but they're all already up here so you can just check that out and see what a genius i am behind the lens. hahaha. i had so much fun camwhoring my friends and putting my so-called photography ingenuity at work, i didn't realize i didn't have much photos of me. darn. to think there's nothing more i love than having my pic taken at the beach. because i'd like to think i'm hawt in my bee-kee-nee with the golden tan care of the blazing summer sun.

excuse my cockiness. i'm feeling shit right now thanks to people i really shouldn't be paying mind AT ALL. i don't understand how some people can have the uncanny ability to make me feel like trash, when in fact they don't even mean ANYTHING to me. but the stupider thing is, i don't understand why i allowed them (or him, to be a little specific) to make me feel like trash in the first place. damn you. you're the trashy one. i hate hate hate you to the core of my central nerves.

so i spent the entire stormy weekend watching the first season of grey's anatomy, just because everyone is raving about it. i wonder why there is starting to become a trend in hospital drama on primetime TV. there's Scrubs, then there's House, M.D., then there's Grey's. but grey's anatomy is quite good. it isn't sex and the city or one tree hill for me, but it was worth an entire afternoon spent of my free saturday. the soundtrack is smashing, and all the surgery gore is... well, gory. but it's a cool show. i love meredith grey. i can kinda relate to how she thinks and analyzes things. and how she's so martyr about stuff. oh wait, that's what i said about carrie bradshaw, too.

drama, drama, drama. i'm so glad God created me to be such an exaggerated drama queen, otherwise my life wouldn't have as much color. haha.
